The plants are organized under automotive models, where capacity utilisation, quality and supply chain are critical in the industrial process, and the key to profitability.
My missions in Poclain Hydraulics in Czech Republic were:
- to provide timely accurate MFG P&L, according to corporate deadline
- to provide relevant MFG P&L analysis to local and corporate using various calculation like variances analysis, Forex impact, labor efficiency, utilization of capacity, etc....
- build up budget from group and local input
- to ensure that production cost are calculated according to group rules and are reflection of reality
- to ensure indirectly that information system (Peoplesoft)was used in a proper way to maintain accurate dataflow (control of material consumption, audit of invoicing, cycling inventory)
- transverse analyse: make or buy decision, productivity follow up, return on investment with DCF method, monthly scorecard, etc.
Internship for my master in Cost accounting
My main missions were:
- to print the monthly P&L for each Business Unit
- to print the monthly current cost and explain evolution
- to monthly issue industrial scorecards of the cie
- to automatize the scorecard through Business Object query
When I left the internship all scorecard were available through BO query
